Revealed during Red Wolf’s live session on CHR, the song “I Wrote Myself a Letter” from the upcoming Been to the Gallows album, CRYPTOZOOLOGY can be heard here-
UPDATE: You can listen to the recorded show now, right here! Near the end of the show, a new track “I Wrote Myself a Letter” was revealed from the album Cryptozoology, though it may have been previously heard at live shows and/or on live recordings. No worries though… we’re saving all the best tracks until the release of the album.
Thursday, January 31st, Red Wolf will be appearing on HippyHead’s Spotlight on CHR, so be sure to tune in!
Mike James, from Been to the Gallows, will also reveal a never-before-heard track from the new Been to the Gallows album, “Cryptozoology”.

First up is Been to the Gallows performing the live version of a track that will be featured on the new album Cryptozoology, which will be released soon.
Next, the debut of Red Wolf, an ambitious new project led by Scot Hubbs.

Our second album, Cryptozoology is to be released in early 2013, which is unfortunate, because… well… according to the Mayans there isn’t gonna be a 2013. Yeah. That’s right, the world is supposed to end today, December 21st, 2012. But hey, at least we don’t have to worry about the deadline on our album any more. It could be literally any moment, so you better listen to this very appropriate track from our new album while you still can- It’s called “The End of the World”. We couldn’t resist releasing this one today. Better hurry!
As previously announced, Been to the Gallows has been hard at work on a new album (which is to be released in early 2013). “Demodulated” (seen above) is a track that will appear on the album. The name of the album will be Cryptozoology, and as implied, the song of the same name will also appear on the album, along with some other previous single releases.

This show marks the premiere of a brand new band, RED WOLF, which features Scot Hubbs on the guitar and vocals, Aaron Hubbs on bass, and Mike James (from Been to the Gallows) on drums.
First and foremost, Been to the Gallows has started recording a new album! This is the second full album to be recorded by Been to the Gallows, the first being A Knock at the Door (which is available at Underground Sounds as well as at live shows). Fun details on the album are soon to come… but until then, check out the first track to be unveiled from it- (Switch to 1080p for best sound quality)
Also, Been to the Gallows has officially settled into a new studio space! It’s been dubbed “Enigma Machine Studio”, in association with Cul De Sac King Records. As many of you have already seen, here’s a photo of the space while it was still under construction-
(It’s also featured briefly in the music video for “Mother Nature Should’a Told Me”)
